Meet Our Founder

Matt Fritter is the Founder of Tiger Capital Investment. Matt grew up in Raleigh, NC, graduating from Broughton High School and North Carolina State University.

After graduating from NC State, using the capital that he made through apartment brokerage, Matt began to buy and sell rental properties for his personal investment portfolio. In 2006, Matt founded what would become American Residential Investment Management and shifted his focus from brokerage to acquiring and managing apartment communities.

In 2024, Matt founded Tiger Capital to focus on acquiring and developing apartment communities throughout the Southeast. Since his first acquisition in 2004, Matt has completed over $750 million in transactions; all of which have been profitable, with an average ROI of over 30% per year.
